What printing method do you use?:
At Hero Speed Shop and Design, we screen print all our apparel in-house using premium water-based inks. Screen printing is widely considered the gold standard for apparel because it delivers crisp detail and long-lasting quality. By using water-based inks, we go even further: your shirt won't feel heavy or plasticky (no pressed-on China garbage here). Instead, the design soaks into the fabric, creating a soft, breathable, and built in feel that only improves with washes and wear.
Since water-based inks bond with the fabric rather than sitting on top, they won't crack or peel over time. This is why many of our designs are created using a distressed or vintage texture look. All of this means your design will last as long as your shirt does.
Why don't you offer 2XL+ sizes?:
As a small, independently owned brand, we currently screen print all of our apparel by hand, in-house. Each additional size we offer increases inventory demands, production complexity, and final cost to the customer. To stay efficient and keep our pricing structure in place, we've chosen to focus on the most in-demand product sizing that our current customer base requests.
We recognize the importance of sizing and scaling and plan to expand our size offerings as we grow. Your feedback is valuable. If you're looking for a size we don’t currently carry, let us know! It helps us plan better for future releases.
Do you have multiple t-shirt fits or styles?:
For our initial brand launch in summer 2025, we're excited to offer one carefully selected fit: our 60/40 blended t-shirt. This lightweight, premium shirt was chosen after extensive research, testing, and refinement. This shirt has a slightly fitted, more athletic feel through the shoulders, arms, and chest, but tapers off to rest comfortably on the hips. From wash after wash to everyday wear and tear, we put this shirt through rigorous trials to ensure it meets our high standards for comfort, fit, durability, and print quality. After collaborating with several vendors and manufacturers, we confidently chose this shirt as the perfect fit for our brand and customers.
After our summer 2025 launch, we are also searching for an alternative fit that has been highly requested; the west coast fit. This will be a heavier weight, boxier, and fuller-fitting t-shirt. We anticipate this fit going into production in early 2026.
Why are some items out of stock?
As a growing brand, we operate with limited stock to keep costs low, reduce excess inventory, and gauge customer interest in each product. This approach allows us to stay flexible and continuously improve our offerings. The good news? We run our own in-house print shop, which means we can quickly restock and fulfill most out-of-stock items on demand, often with little to no delay. If something you want is unavailable, check back soon or reach out to us directly.
